Funds to be transferred to clients’ bank accounts in Azerbaijan on same day after receipt

Banks in Azerbaijan will be required to credit funds received to a client’s account on the same day they were transferred, unless the law provides otherwise, Report informs referring to the bill amending the Civil Code.

According to the current Code, banks are required to transfer received funds to the client’s account no later than the next day after receiving the corresponding payment document.
