Foreigners' bank card expenses in Azerbaijan down 9%

In January-June of this year, foreigners carried out transactions worth 999.9 million manat ($588.2 million) in Azerbaijan using bank cards, a drop of 9.1% y-o-y, Report informs, citing the July issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

In June of this year alone, the value of transactions conducted by foreign citizens using bank cards in Azerbaijan amounted to 148.6 million manats ($87.4 million), a drop of 27% y-o-y.
