Foreign liabilities of Azerbaijani banks up 63%

Foreign liabilities of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 1,686,500,000 manats ($992 million) (+3.8%) as of September 1 this year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Banks' foreign liabilities increased by 58.6% compared to January 1 this year and 63.2% compared to September 1 last year.

26 banks operate in Azerbaijan.
