Fitch improves Morgan Stanley outlook

Fitch Ratings has affirmed Morgan Stanley (MS) Long-Term and Short-Term Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) at 'A' and 'F1', respectively, Report informs referring to Fitch Ratings.

The Rating Outlook has been revised to Positive from Stable.

The Positive Outlook reflects the firm’s transforming revenue mix and business model to be more resilient, and thus, more creditor friendly.

The affirmation of MS’s ratings reflect the firm's strong operating performance over the last number of quarters, its strong capital position and its solid risk infrastructure has allowed it to identify and shed risky exposures to avoid meaningful financial impact within its institutional securities segment (ISG).

Morgan Stanley was founded in 1935. One of the main areas of its activity is asset trust management. The financial corporation operates in more than 40 countries.
