Excise tax forecast in Azerbaijan increased by 11%

According to forecasts, in 2024, the share of excise tax revenues in Azerbaijan will account for 1,531 million manats (over $900 million) or 4.5% of state budget revenues.

Report informs citing the Ministry of Finance that this is 10.5% more than the approved forecast for 2023.

In 2024, budget revenues are projected to be 34,173 million manats (over $20 million), and expenses are expected at 36,763 million manats (nearly $22 million).
