Exchange price of gold reaches $2,700 per troy ounce for first time in history

The price of gold continued to grow, reaching a new record high of over $2,700 per troy ounce, Report informs referring to trading data.

The December gold futures on the New York Comex exchange increased in price by $17.15 (0.64%), reaching $2,701.85 per troy ounce.
