European Commission raises forecast for US GDP growth in 2023

The European Commission has raised its forecast for US economic growth in 2023 to 1.4% from the previously forecasted 0.7%, Report informs.

In 2024, the EC expects the US economy to grow by 1%, earlier in the fall it was predicted to grow by 1.7%.

In addition, the European Commission expects inflation in the country in 2023 at 4.3%, and in 2024 at 2.6%. Previously, inflation was forecast at 3.4% in 2023 and 2.3% in 2024.
