EU says possible to unfreeze €300B of Russia’s reserves after start of Ukraine’s restoration

European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders believes that Moscow’s frozen foreign exchange reserves of 300 billion euros can be kept as a guarantee until the restoration of Ukraine with the participation of Russia begins, Report informs referring to the German editorial group Funke.

“Ukraine wants to use these funds for reconstruction,” said the European commissioner.

He also said that within the sanctions in the EU, the property of 90 people was frozen, more than 17 billion euros in 7 states, 2.2 billion of them in Germany.
