US-dollar rate sets new record in Russia

Baku. 21 January.REPORT.AZ/ USD exchange rate to January 21 set a new historical record in Russia.

Report informs, today at about 12:00 p.m. Baku time, exchange rate made 84,450 RUB/USD.

Notably, previous record maximum limit made 80,024 RUB/USD to December 16, 2014 and yesterday 80,764 RUB/USD.

Sharp weakening of ruble caused by fall of 'Brent' crude oil price to 27,11 USD per barrel today.

In addition, however, euro exchange rate made 91,410 RUB/EUR, it has not passed historical record level. Notably, historical record observed on December 15, 2014 and made 100,448 RUB/EUR.

Analytical Group of Report News Agency believes that against background of decline in oil price, in Russia, USD exchange rate is forecasted to make 90 RUB/USD, and Euro 100 RUB/EUR.
