Demand for dollar rises nearly 18% in currency auction

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), Report informs citing CBA.

Report informs, citing the Bank, that the demand at the auction was $ 52.7 million, up $8 million or 17.9% from June 4.

The average weighted interest rate of manat is 1.7000 AZN/USD.
