Demand for dollar rises more than 26% in currency auction

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), Report informs citing CBA.

Report informs, citing the Bank, that the demand at the auction was $ 41.6 million, up $8.6 million, or 26.1% from June 23.

According to CBA, the demand was fully met.

The average weighted interest rate of manat is 1.7000 AZN/USD.
