The capitalization of the global cryptocurrency market has almost reached $2 trillion, which is slightly less than the indicator of the most expensive company in the world - Apple, according the CoinMarketCap website, Report informs.

Over the past 24 hours, the capitalization of the cryptocurrency market has grown by 3.26 percent, while 55 percent of the total volume falls on bitcoin - its capitalization is $1.1 trillion. Ethereum with a capitalization of $246 billion ranks second. The third position is taken by Binance Coin with a capitalization of almost $60 billion. In total, there are 9,122 cryptocurrencies in the world.

At the same time, the capitalization of Apple is $2.11 trillion. This is the most expensive company in the world. Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas state-owned company Saudi Aramco ranks second with $1.9 trillion, followed by Microsoft with a capitalization of $1.88 trillion.

The growth of the cryptocurrencies market is due to their recognition in the world. So, at the end of March, PayPal announced that it would allow users to pay for purchases using cryptocurrency. Prior to that, Visa became the first to approve payments in USD Coin cryptocurrency. In addition, Tesla founder Elon Musk announced that his electric cars can be bought for bitcoins.
