Central Bank of Azerbaijan keeps refinancing rate unchanged

The Management Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has made a decision to maintain the discount rate at 7%, Report informs, citing the CBA.

According to the bank, the lower limit of the interest rate corridor has been maintained at 6%, while the upper limit remains at 8%.

"This decision has been made considering the alignment of actual inflation with the forecasted inflation trajectory, comparison of forecasted inflation with the target (4±2%), possible impacts of recent global economic processes, domestic macroeconomic situation, as well as the transmission of monetary policy decisions," CBA stated.
