The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) have discussed prospects for Islamic finances in Azerbaijan, CBA governor Taleh Kazimov said on X, according to Report.
"We were pleased to welcome the delegation led by the Secretary General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) and the Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Group at the Central Bank," the post reads.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on potential cooperation opportunities with the banking sector of Azerbaijan, on the work done in the country and prospects in the sphere of Islamic finances.
