CBA: Road Map of Working Group on Financial Markets Development is ready

The 2024 Road Map of the Working Group on Financial Markets Development and Accesibility of Loans was drafted in accordance with the relevant methodology of the World Bank's Business Ready report, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Rashad Orujov said at the meeting of the working group, Report informs.

According to Orujov, representatives of other relevant state agencies and the private sector participated in the preparation of the document along with CBA.

“The Road Map identified a total of 49 measures for strengthening the financial infrastructure, improving the regulatory framework in this direction, and increasing the awareness of the private sector,” he said.

“The document aims to increase the participation of women in the financial sector, and at the same time, it envisages the implementation of measures to promote financial and non-financial instruments in this regard. In order to increase the efficiency of obtaining financial services, the Road Map also includes measures to analyze the existing cost and time structure for obtaining loans and using electronic payments,” Orujov added.
