CBA chairman: Demand exceeded supply by $100M during this year’s auctions

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA)  has held 30 currency auctions since early 2019, CBA chairman Elman Rustamov said at the press conference.

"The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) put $1.9 billion up for sale in these auctions. Demand exceeded the supply by only $100 million," he added.
