The meeting of the Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament) has kicked off, according to Report.
The bill "On the execution of the state budget for 2024" is being discussed at the meeting.
The document was submitted to the parliament last week.
Azerbaijan's state budget revenues for 2024 amounted to nearly 37.162 billion manats (almost $21,86 billion), marking a 5.5% increase compared to 2023. The revenue plan execution exceeded by 2.1%.
In 2023, state budget expenditures amounted to nearly 37.714 billion manats (over $22.184), marking a 3.4% increase year-on-year. Also, 94.9% of the forecast was executed during this period.
The state budget deficit for 2024 was 551.8 million manats (approximately $324.6 million), or 0.4% of GDP.
