Azerbaijan to allocate over $9.3 million to open new embassies

There are plans to allocate 15.9 million manats ($9.352 million) for the opening and maintenance of Azerbaijani embassies in Israel, Albania and Kenya, as well as representation in Palestine, scheduled for next year, Deputy Finance Minister of Azerbaijan Azer Bayramov said at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Report informs.

At the same time, it is planned to increase the expenses for the maintenance of the parliament by 4.1 million manats ($2.411 million), he noted. Thus, in total, additional expenses in the amount of 20 million manats ($11.764 million) are expected, which will be possible due to the reduction of subsidies to Nakhchivan. This issue has already been agreed with the leadership of the Autonomous Republic, Bayramov said.
