A delegation led by Tamerlan Yusifzada, Chief of Staff of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan, visited Ankara to learn from the Court of Accounts of Türkiye about remote auditing and big data analysis, Report informs, citing the chamber.
As a part of the visit, presentations were made on the Court of Accounts' information systems, BVAS and VERA, which process financial data for over 90% of audit portfolio entities through approximately 500 scenarios.
Representatives highlighted that big data has provided a robust foundation for financial audits. They discussed the contributions of these systems, which obtain information from various state bodies, including the unified accounting system for the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
The Azerbaijani delegation also met with Metin Yenir, President of the Court of Accounts of Türkiye. They discussed cooperation and emphasized the need to continue developing relations and future joint activities between the supreme audit institutions of both countries.
