As of March 1 this year, the circulation velocity of the national currency of Azerbaijan - the manat - was 5 points.
Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), that this is 0.19 points more than on February 1, 1.11 points more than at the beginning of the year, and 1.32 points more than on March 1 last year.
According to the CBA, the lowest rate of the manat circulation for the last 17 years was recorded in late January 2015, that is ahead of the first devaluation of recent years, when it amounted to 2.68 points. Meanwhile, the all-time high was recorded in 2005 (15.72 points).
