Azerbaijan’s strategic foreign exchange reserves exceed $53B

Azerbaijan’s strategic foreign exchange reserves increased by 4.4% to $53 billion in January-November 2021, Report informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

“Moreover, the CBA’s currency reserves rose by 10.2% to over $7 billion. A significant surplus is expected in the balance of payment in 2022,” the bank said.
