In January–July of this year, Azerbaijan’s state budget revenues reached 23.4809 billion manats ($13.81 billion), while expenditures totaled 19.9446 billion manats ($11.73 billion).
According to the Ministry of Finance, these figures represent an increase of 4% in revenues and 2.5% in expenditures compared to the same period last year.
Budget revenues exceeded forecasts by 3.1%, while expenditures were 3.1% lower than planned.
As a result, a budget surplus of 3.5363 billion manats ($2.08 billion) was recorded for the first seven months — 13.1% higher than a year ago.
