Azerbaijan's insurance sector sees 2% decline in assets 

As of the end of 2021, the assets of Azerbaijan's insurance sector stood at 1,331 million manats, down 1.6% from the previous year, Report informs.

In the reporting period, 532 million manats or 40% of the assets made up investments in securities, 1.1% more than a year earlier.

The investments in the government securities increased by 2.5% to 457 million manats, in non-government securities dropped 6.25% to 75 million.

During the reporting period, the sector's funds in the deposit accounts decreased by 1.9% to 308 million manats, cash assets by 15.6% to 103 million manats, and other assets by 0.8% to 388 million manats.
