Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry rep appointed to high position at IMF

Deputy Director of the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework Preparation Center of the Office of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Finance Rashad Hasanov has been appointed Advisor to the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Rashad Hasanov himself told Report.

“From today, I will represent Azerbaijan on the board of the fund, acting as an adviser to the executive director of the IMF in Washington. I believe that my new mission will allow me to adequately ensure the interests of our country in the fund and make an even greater contribution to economic reforms, held in Azerbaijan. On the other hand, it will be quite an interesting experience to contribute to ensuring stability and sustainable growth of the world economy as a participant in the global decision-making process,” Hasanov noted.
