In January-February this year, Azerbaijan produced GDP worth 19.175 billion manats, or 6.7% more than in the same period last year, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.
According to the data, over the past year, value added in the oil and gas sector of the economy increased by 0.6%, and in the non-oil sector - by 10.1%.
According to the data, 53.6% of GDP production falls on industry, 7.9% - on trade, repair of vehicles, 5.9% - on transport and warehousing, 3.1% - on construction, 2.3% - on agriculture, forestry and fisheries, 1.3% on information and communication, 1.2% on tourist accommodation and catering, 14.9% on other industries. Net taxes on goods and imports amounted to 9.8% of GDP.
Over the year, the value of GDP per capita in Azerbaijan increased by 58.9% to 1,910 manats.
