The banking mission under the leadership of the Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov has started its first working trip in an expanded format to the US, Report informs referring to the CBA.
Heads of the country’s leading financial institutions are taking part in the trip, organized by the Azerbaijan Banks Association and the US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce.
During the visit, the mission will hold meetings with US government and government agencies, as well as representatives of the financial sector in Washington and New York. It is also expected to organize presentations and round table meetings to exchange experiences between countries in the banking and financial sectors.
The main goal of the mission, which will last until April 25, is to support the development and strengthening of relations between financial sector regulators and commercial banks of the two countries.
