Azerbaijan posts increase in share of oil and gas sector in FDI

The share of the oil and gas sector in the $1.5 billion worth of foreign direct investment attracted to the Azerbaijani economy was 87.6% in Q12024, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

The bank said this is 10.1 percentage points more than the same period of 2023.

Foreign direct investments increased by 0.5% over the past year.
