The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) is working on allowing salaries to be received from any bank, and this may be possible by the end of the year, CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov and economic experts said, according to Report.
The meeting, which lasted more than 3 hours, was attended by 13 people and included comprehensive and substantive discussions on monetary policy, balance of payments, digital technologies, current trends in the financial sector, and future plans.
Participants were also provided with detailed information about a new financial instrument (hedging) developed by the institution and its potential contributions to the economy.
"I believe that regular exchange of opinions and constructive dialogue with experts makes an important contribution to the proper formation of public opinion, as well as the full and transparent communication of CBA decisions to all stakeholders. I sincerely thank all the experts who participated in the meeting and shared their valuable thoughts," Kazimov commented on the results of the meeting.
