Azerbaijan increses foreign exchange reserves by 22%

As of July 1 of this year, Azerbaijan's foreign exchange reserves amounted to $64,111 million, Report informs.

Of this, 85.7% or $54,915.1 million fell to share of the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ), $14.3% or $9,195.9 million to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

In the second quarter of this year, the foreign exchange reserves of the country increased by $1,540.4 million or 2.5%. Thus, the foreign exchange reserves of SOFAZ grew by $1,477.5 million or 2.8% and the currency reserves of the CBA by $62.9 million or 0.7%.

In the last year, the currency reserves of the country increased by $11,432.3 million or 21.7%. During the year, the foreign currency reserves of SOFAZ showed a rise of $9,608.3 million or 21.2%, while the foreign currency reserves - $1,824 million or 24.7%.
