Azerbaijan developing investment insurance mechanism

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the Deposit Insurance Fund are developing an investment insurance mechanism.

According to a Report correspondent in Shamakhi, Azer Amirov, Director of the Fund's Legal Department, announced the move at a forum marking National Press Day.

According to him, the deposit insurance system is facing new challenges, and the creation of new insurance options is being considered: "We are currently working on an investment insurance mechanism jointly with the Central Bank. Other initiatives are also being developed, the details of which will be announced soon."
