Azerbaijan Banks Association establishes new expert groups

Two new expert groups have been established within the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) Public Union, Report informs, citing ABA.

This decision was made during the General Meeting of the Association's Board of Directors, which convened with an expanded membership.

According to the resolution, the existing "Retail Banking" sub-Expert Group and the "Credit Life Insurance" working group will be merged to form the new "Retail Banking and Credit Insurance Products Expert Group". Additionally, a dedicated "Data and Artificial Intelligence Expert Group" will be established.

The ABA, founded by commercial banks in 1990, aims to protect the interests of its member organizations, support their diverse business service needs, and coordinate their activities. Currently, the Association boasts a membership of 29 organizations, including 22 banks, 3 non-bank credit institutions, and 4 other entities
