Azerbaijan attracted over $3B in FDI in 1H25

In the first half of this year, foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan amounted to $3.223 billion, Samir Nasirov, director of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), said at a press conference, Report informs.

According to him, the top five countries investing in the country were the United Kingdom ($806.3 million), Türkiye ($628.7 million), Cyprus ($353.4 million), Switzerland ($226.6 million), and Iran ($176 million).

"During the reporting period, Azerbaijan invested $1.349 billion in direct investment abroad. The top five countries in this regard included Israel ($542.5 million), Türkiye ($177.4 million), the United Arab Emirates ($156.3 million), Georgia ($77.6 million), and the United States ($77.1 million)," the CBA representative added.
