Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan discussed the prospects of expanding financial cooperation, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
A delegation led by the Chair of the Financial Market Regulation and Development Agency of Kazakhstan, Madina Abilqasymova, has visited Azerbaijan. During the visit, CBA Governor Taleh Kazimov met with the Kazakh delegation.
At the meeting, the Kazakh delegation was briefed on the "Financial Sector Development Strategy for 2024-2026" implemented by the CBA and the strategic initiatives implemented within its framework.
During the meeting, the chair of the Kazakh agency provided detailed information about ensuring financial stability, approaches applied in the field of banking and insurance supervision, as well as her country's experience in regulating financial markets. A presentation was also made on the projects implemented in Kazakhstan towards digitalization and the work done in this regard.
The meeting continued with a discussion of opportunities for expanding cooperation between the institutions and other issues of mutual interest.
