Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have discussed prospects for further developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
According to Report, citing the Cabinet of Ministers, Prime Minister Ali Asadov met a delegation of the ADB Board of Directors today.
The meeting highlighted the high level of the long-standing and mutually beneficial partnership between Azerbaijan and ADB.
The sides stressed the importance of joint projects in transport, energy, water supply, finance, education, healthcare and other areas, and noted that there are good opportunities to expand cooperation under the public-private partnership mechanism.
The Country Partnership Strategy for 2025–2029 was described as an important framework for a new stage of Azerbaijan-ADB cooperation.
It was also noted that new projects planned in the energy, transport and water infrastructure sectors are in line with Azerbaijan's long-term development priorities.
Finance Minister Sahil Babayev also took part in the discussions.
