The Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan has been elected as a member of the Board of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) for 2024-2027, Report informs referring to the Chamber.
Voting for the election of new members of the ASOSAI Board and Audit Committee took place at the II plenary session of the 16th ASOSAI Assembly.
As a result of the voting, Azerbaijan, Philippines, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Malaysia, UAE, and Bhutan were elected as new members of the ASOSAI Board for 2024-2027, while the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of Iran and Vietnam were elected as new members of the ASOSAI Audit Committee.
The New Delhi Declaration was also adopted at the meeting.
