In the second quarter of 2021, the average monthly nominal wage in Georgia increased by 15.5% year-on-year to 1,328 lari ($427.7), Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat).
According to GeoStat, in April-June, the highest salaries were in the financial and insurance sectors - 2,355 lari ($758).
High salaries were also paid in the fields of information and communication ($2,173 lari / $699), construction ($2,006 lari / $646) and professional, scientific and technical activities ($1,920 lari / $618).
During the reporting period, the average monthly salary in Georgia was 1,560 lari ($502) for men and 1,078 lari ($347) for women.
