Average monthly salary up by 14% in Azerbaijan

As of July 1, 2022, the number of the hired workers in the country's economy increased by 29,400 people or 1.7% to 1,720,000 people, of which 901,200 are employed in the public sector and 818,800 in the private sector, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.

In January-June 2022, the average monthly nominal wage of employees in the country increased by 14.2% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 827.1 manats ($486).
