Average monthly salary grows by over 15% in Azerbaijan

As of November 1, 2022, the number of hired workers in the country's economy increased by 27,200 people, or 1.6%, to 1,729,300 people, of which 900,400 are employed in the public sector and 828,900 in the private sector, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.

Compared to a year earlier, the average monthly nominal wage of employees in the country increased by 14.5% to 827.9 manats ($487) in January-October 2022.
