Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC (ASCO), one of the companies within AZCON Holding, hosted a delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Report informs, citing ASCO.
The visitors were briefed on ASCO's business needs, priority areas, and its medium and long-term development programs.
The sides discussed ongoing efforts to build an efficient and sustainable fleet aligned with modern challenges. They also exchanged views on upcoming projects focused on green shipping, decarbonization, and digital solutions.
Commending ASCO's strategic development goals, the ADB representatives expressed their readiness to cooperate and support future projects in this direction.
Following the meeting, the guests visited the museum "Across Three Centuries" located in ASCO's office, where they explored Azerbaijan's rich shipping history and maritime heritage.
