The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit is starting its work today, on November 18, in Bangkok, Thailand, Report informs referring to foreign media.
The summit will last until November 19.
The summit will consist of two plenary sessions on the theme of balanced, inclusive and sustainable growth, trade development and investment.
Within the framework of APEC, meetings of the heads of delegations with the business advisory council of the organization are envisaged.
APEC is a forum for 21 economies in the Asia-Pacific region for cooperation on regional trade and investment liberalization. Australia, Brunei, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, US, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Chile, Peru, Russia, Vietnam participate in it.
