The prices of consumption goods and services rose by 2.9% in January-May 2020, with food products, drinks, and other products accounting for a 5.5% growth, non-food products for 1.2% growth, and paid services for 1% growth, Report informs.
According to the State Statistical Committee, consumption goods went down 0.5% in May compared to April, went up 2.9% compared to a year earlier.
In March, the prices of food products, drinks, and tobacco products were down 1.3% from the previous year, up 5.7% from 2019.
In May 2020, the prices of non-food products increased by 0.1% in comparison to the previous month, 1.4% - compared to a year earlier.
Paid services were 0.4% by contrast to 2019.
