Annual inflation rate exceeds 5% in Azerbaijan

Compared to last year's same period, the consumer prices index (CPI) made up 105.2% in January-September 2021, food products, drinks, and other products - 106%, non-food products - 104.4%, and paid services - 104.6%, Report informs.

According to the State Statistical Committee, in September, the consumption prices stood at 101.8% compared to the previous month, at 108.5% in contrast to September 2020.

In September 2021, the prices of food products, drinks, and tobacco products were 102.6% against the previous month, 110.4% in contrast with 2020.

The prices of non-food products accounted for 100.8% compared to August 2021, 105.9% compared with the same period of 2020.

The prices of paid services accounted for 101.5% compared to a month earlier, for 107.9% compared with September 2020.
