Currently, issuers do not fully understand that the prospectus is their free PR and marketing tool, Parvana Gasimova, a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Stock Market Participants of Azerbaijan (AFBIA), said at the 12th International Caspian Investment Forum, Report informs.
"Shares and bonds are rights, and the main document for an investor to obtain information about any instrument, about a new instrument launched on the market, is the prospectus. During the period of activity, we see that sometimes issuers complain that the Central Bank makes too many notes and makes various regulations. This will always happen. In a large document, there will definitely be some technical errors, it is impossible to completely optimize this," she emphasized.
According to her, companies in developed countries have already reached the stage of evolution where they present themselves with prospectuses: "They are so creative in the design of these prospectuses that they even attract additional consultants to make the prospectus more attractive."
