The 8th Eurasian Forum for Accountants and Auditors, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Professional Financial Managers Association (APFM) and Baku Higher Oil School of the State Oil Company (SOCAR), commenced in Baku on September 19.
According to Report, the forum, themed "Reporting and Transparency in a Green Economy," is dedicated to the Green World Solidarity Year.
The 3-day event brings together Asmaa Resmouki, President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), along with leaders of professional financial institutions from Europe and Asia, accompanied by nearly 50 foreign professional experts. Representatives from Azerbaijan's ministries, state and commercial organizations, public institutions, and around 400 specialists working in finance, accounting, and auditing are also participating.
The forum aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among professionals in the field. Memorandums of Cooperation between the organizers and professional accounting and auditing bodies from foreign countries are expected to be signed during the event.
