Computer with data on preparations for Olympics stolen again in France

A magnetic pass and a laptop have been stolen from the coordinator of deliveries to the Olympic venues in Lille and the Olympic village in the suburbs of the country - Villeneuve-d'Ascq, Report informs via RMC Sport radio station.

According to the radio station, a female victim filed a complaint with the police, but stated that the badge with her personal data “did not open any doors, and the computer did not contain secret data” that was stored in a cloud service.

This is not the first time that computers with information related to their organization have been stolen in France on the eve of the Summer Olympics.

In March, a court sentenced a man who stole a Paris City Hall information security employee's laptop and flash drives, which contained data related to the Olympic Games, to seven months in prison.
