US, UAE to invest $100B in clean energy

The US and the UAE have entered into an agreement on a strategic partnership in the field of clean energy, which will attract $100 billion in investments in this industry, Report informs referring to the White House website.

As part of the agreement, the parties intend to produce 100 gigawatts of clean energy worldwide by 2035. They also plan to invest in the management of harmful emissions, the development of advanced nuclear technologies and the decarbonization of the industrial and transport sectors.
