US ready to tap strategic oil reserves again as gasoline prices threaten to rise

The administration of US President Joe Biden is prepared to release more oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to prevent any surge in gasoline prices this summer, Report informs citing The Washington Times.

Amos Hochstein, a senior advisor to Biden, told the newspaper that oil prices are still too high for many Americans and he would like to see them come down a little bit more.
