US oil reserves decline

Commercial oil reserves in the United States over the past week decreased by 426,000 barrels and amounted to 484.691 million barrels as of May 7, Report informs referring to the US Department of Energy.

Meanwhile, analysts interviewed by Bloomberg were expecting a decline in reserves by 2.1 million barrels.

The cost of the July futures for Brent oil on the London ICE exchange grew by 1.79 percent to 69.78 per barrel, and WTI oil rose in price by 1.82 percent to $66.47 per barrel.
