US gasoline prices reach historic high

Gasoline prices in the US have hit a new all-time high, Report informs referring to the American Automobile Association.

The current price per gallon (3.785 liters) of gasoline on the national average has reached $4.404, which is 3 cents higher than the day before. In the state of California, where fuel is always more expensive, per gallon, according to analysts, gasoline costs an average of $5.85. The price of gasoline has been declining somewhat since the beginning of April, when the release of oil from the strategic reserve began, but in the first days of May it again turned to growth.

The all-time high of $4.33 per gallon in the US was recorded on March 11.
