UAE’s aviation fuel imports from Azerbaijan soar by 21 times

In January-May 2022, Azerbaijan exported 24,489 tons of aviation fuel worth $20.362 million.

According to Report's calculations based on the State Statistics Committee's data, exports increased 3.2 times in value terms and by 85% in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, 10,989 tons (26.1 % more compared to the same period last year) of fuel were sold to Luxembourg for $7.762 million (+2.2-fold), 3,454 tons (+3.4-fold) for $3.374 million (+4.4-fold) to Turkiye, 2,668 tons (+7.3-fold) for $2.585 million (+9.3-fold) to Russia, 2,599 tons (+2.6-fold) for $2.045 million (+4.3-fold) to Georgia, and 1,238 tons (+21-fold) for $1,208 (+27-fold) to the UAE.
